Biography

Gregory Lehman is a 1993 graduate of Goshen College with a B.A. in art. His focus was in jewelry design, though he became interested in building while in school. In 1995 he started Lehman Design & Mfg., Inc. (now LLC), a business for jewelry design, which from 2005-2009 also did specialty building projects.

One of Lehman's interests, aside from design, is travel. He worked 7 seasons as science support crew at McMurdo Station, Antarctica and has traveled to every continent. His most recent trip was to Santiago de Compostela, Spain in the summer of 2009.

Lehman is currently putting the finishing touches on his new workshop addition.

In May 2010, Lehman expects to graduate from Ivy Tech Community College with an Associates of Science in Nursing degree. At this time he will no longer be available for custom building projects, but will still take a limited number of custom jewelry commissions. The focus of his interest in building will be to continue on the long term project of an ecological neighborhood where both the straw bale house and the superinsulated duplex are located
